French Dip Crescent Sandwiches

recipe-entreeI came across this recipe awhile back and thought it would be perfect for my family’s annual New Year’s Eve gathering.  They are a super easy to make finger food, which is just what I like for such get-togethers.  Serve with your favorite horseradish or Au Jus dipping sauce.

Ingredients

2 pkgs crescent rolls (8 count)

1 lb roast beef, thin sliced

4 oz provolone cheese, cut into 16 pieces

Directions

Preheat oven to 375º.  Unroll dough onto a large baking sheet and separate the rolls.  Place a slice of roast beef on each crescent, folding it to fit onto the triangle.  Place a piece of cheese on top of the roast beef.  Roll up crescents, starting at the wide end and ending at the narrow end.

Bake for 11 to 13 minutes until golden in color.  When done, remove to serving platter.  Serve with horseradish or Au Jus, if desired.
