INVITATION TO BID

The Jefferson County Purchasing Department will be accepting sealed bids for STONE for Jefferson County Sanitation Department.

  1. Approximately 7500 tons of ¾” (#57) clean limestone. Stone delivery volumes must be at a level as to the complete delivery in a two week time frame.
  2. Approximately 400 tons of 1 ½ “ to 2” clean stone other than limestone (granite, river rock, etc.). Delivery would need to be integrated with the delivery of the other stone.

Sealed bids should be labeled “STONE” and either mailed to the Jefferson County Finance Department to the attention of Finance Director Langdon Potts, at P.O. Box 1749, Dandridge, TN, 37725, or dropped off at 1244 Gay St., Dandridge, TN, 37725. Bids will be accepted until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020, at which time bids will be opened in the Finance Department conference room. Oral, email, and telephone bids will not be accepted.

Jefferson County reserves the right to ACCEPT OR REJECT any and all bids and to WAIVE ANY AND ALL IRREGULARITIES IN THE RECEIPT/HANDLING OF BIDS. THE AWARDED BIDDER MUST BE IN GOOD STANDING WITH THE COUNTY OF JEFFERSON.
